We were recommended the place by a friend who went some 30 years ago. The Auberge is charming at first look and would have great potential if it was completely updated and renovated. Grounds are not maintained anymore which is sad, golf is a thing of the past.... cabins are old, with uncomfortable beds, no A/C, and bad cable reception - NO amenities whatsoever in the rooms. The main house would be beautiful if not so obsolete... Everything is old and in dire needs of updates - the pool area is in bad need of maintenance; do not expect a saltwater pool. The spa services were OK and the food good. The staff is GREAT. The description of the Auberge is not current and most definitely not a 3 stars... maybe it once has been but not anymore. Our one night stay for 2, with treatments, facials (supplement) , 3 meals and one glass of wine was over CND$1,100 not including tips... The overall impression is that this place is running out of time without major investments.
